We're always sorry to see customers leave, but if you need to cancel your ScottishFibre service, here's what you need to know.
If you're switching to another provider
You don't need to cancel with us directly. Under the One Touch Switch process, your new provider handles the switch on your behalf. See our guide on how One Touch Switch works.
If you're cancelling because you're moving home
You may be able to take your service with you to your new address. See our guide on moving home before cancelling, as this is often the easier option.
If you're cancelling within your cooling-off period
If you're within 14 days of placing your order, you have the right to cancel without paying any early termination fees. Please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected] or call us on 0800 054 8330
If you're cancelling outside your cooling-off period
To cancel, please contact us at [email protected] or call us on [insert support number]. You'll need to give us at least 30 days' notice.
A few things to be aware of:
If you're still within your minimum contract term, you may be charged an early termination fee. We'll explain exactly what this is before you commit.
We'll send you a final bill covering any usage up to your cancellation date, along with any one-off charges.
You'll need to return any ScottishFibre equipment we provided. We'll send you a prepaid return bag with instructions.
If you're cancelling due to bereavement
We have a separate process for cancellations following a bereavement, with no early termination fees in most cases. Please contact our Customer Vulnerabilities Team at [email protected] or call us on 0800 054 8330.
If you're unhappy with your service
Before cancelling, please give us a chance to put things right. You can raise a complaint by emailing [email protected] and we'll do our best to resolve the issue.
