How to check our network status page

Where to find our status page, how to read it, and how to subscribe to updates for your area.

Our network status page is the first place to look if your service isn't working as it should. It tells you whether there's a known issue in your area, an outage on our wider network, or planned maintenance that might be affecting you.

Where to find it

Go to https://status.scottishfibre.com/. You can also reach it from the footer of our main website, or from any "report a fault" page.

What you'll see

The status page shows:

  • Current status: green if everything is running normally, yellow or red if there are issues

  • Known incidents: any active outages or faults, with the affected area, the services affected (broadband, voice, or both), the time the issue was first reported, and an estimated fix time if we have one

  • Planned maintenance: scheduled work that may briefly interrupt your service, with the date and time window

Subscribing to updates

You can sign up to be notified by email or text when an incident is reported in your area, and when it's resolved. This is especially useful if you work from home or rely on your service for medical equipment.

If your issue isn't listed

If everything looks green on the status page but your service isn't working, it could be an issue specific to your line or equipment. Try the steps in our broadband fault or voice fault guides, and report a fault if those don't help.

Still need help? Check the status page first at https://status.scottishfibre.com/ If your issue isn't listed there, please report a fault by emailing [email protected] or calling 0800 054 8330.
